Girls Day Hinamatsuri Enamel Pins ~ Drummer Tanuki
Girls Day Hinamatsuri Enamel Pins ~ Drummer Tanuki
This is the Drummer Tanuki from Kittynaut and My Hinamatsuri (Girls Day) collaboration project.
Girls Day is a Holiday in Japan held on March 3rd, where the family puts up a display doll set to promote a happy healthy life for the girls of the family.
Tanuki are well known in folklore for their large scrotums (symbolizes full coin purses.) They are also known for being fun loving tricksters; because of these we chose the Hishi pattern (symbolizes prosperity and impending ill fortune). Be careful with this guy -- while he's fun to be around, he's pretty mischievous!
